There has been a continuous rise in the use of mobile apps considering the prevalence of mobile phone users across the world and sophisticated phones particularly, considering that it makes life very easy and comfortable. Mobile apps were formerly offered purposely for information retrieval such as email, contacts, calendar etc.
Due to an increase in public demand and the availability of developer tools, mobile apps were extended to other categories such as GPS, mobile games, medical mobile apps etc. Mobile apps can be found on application distribution platforms which was introduced in 2008 by owners of mobile operating systems such as Google store, apps store, BlackBerry apps world etc. some of these mobile apps are free to be downloaded from their distribution platform on the internet while others must be bought and prices varies depending on the type of mobile device into which they are to be downloaded be it i phone, windows phones, BlackBerry, android phones etc.
It should be noted that, mobile apps can equally be downloaded into laptops and desktop computers and money made from this is shared between the producer of the application and the owner of the distribution platform on which it is downloaded say 70 and 20 percent respectively. During the production of mobile apps, they first undergo emulator test and secondly field test. Emulators provide a cheaper means of testing mobile appsto which developers cannot have access. For the purpose of business, there is a mobile apps management which describes software and controls access into developed and commercially available mobile apps.
There are three major problems faced by mobile apps user which are; the charging of high prices for mobile apps, the presence of fake or ghost mobile apps on application distribution platforms that can be bought and downloaded but does not work on mobile devices and finally the charging of high prices for mobile phones that uses mobile apps. In the development of mobile apps, the screen resolution of the phones should be considered because some mobile apps outweighs the screen size of mobile phone and also, it should be understood that mobile apps run down batteries so fast. If all these problems are regulated, mobile apps will have a very great future considering the fact that, mobile apps facilitates business and render life very easy.
Mobile apps permit you to bite just as much as you can chew, swallow and digest without any problem. It is what will you your smart phone experience worthwhile.
